Another Fan Belt ?
Ok, the belt (from host) is less than a year old and I've got to the point where I have no shims between the pulley halves and all six shims on the outside. Belt tension is OK, but I have no adjustment left. What's next?

i just went through the same thing. i got a bunch of used belts w/the car when i got it, 12yrs ago, so.....point being i looked at all the measurents on the belts and some are 9.5x710 others are 10x710 and they all say porsche on them. so u want the 9.5 one. the 10x710 is too big. check urs

Porsche P/N 999 192 176 50
9.5 X 710 W/2 shims between pulley halve, and the other four under the cup washer worked on our '86. Good luck, Gerry |

they are less than 10.00 ea , buy maint free (ribbed not solid) and adjust correctly, if you go to tight first time your done.
try gerry's 2 in 4 out he knows what he speaks hey gerry
