removing heat, what about filling holes in tin
I have decided that I want to remove my heating system from my 1974 911. Besides the new block off plates on the engine Part 13 on the diagram and the left plate sold through our host), what do you guys do about the holes left in the engine tin where the ducts went through to the heat exchangers? Its parts 22 and 23 on the parts diagram. Something needs to go there, correct?
If a part is not available, any good ideas/pictures on how to cover the spot using the original part? Any other ideas on the left block off plate would be appreciated as well. ![]()

You can make a fill piece out of a small piece of metal for the hole on the left and right to the HE's.
Here is what I did for a block off: ![]() Left Side Heater Block Off- DIY (No Can-No Clamp)
