What does this switch do on my '79 SC
I know the one on the left opens and closes the sunroof.<BR>
What does the switch on the right control? http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1249574027.jpg |
Do you have powered side mirrors? That's what it's for on my '89 I don't know about '79. Check your owner's manual.
|
Yes it is for the power mirrors. Controls what mirror is moved by the joy stick on the door panel.
|
I also have a 79, and I believe it's the ejection seat

Lol. ;)

Romulan Cloaking Device. ;)
|
yup, mirrors.
|
power mirror left/right
could be connected for an oil slick drop (hint: answer can be found in owners manual):rolleyes: |
The switch on the left operates the sunroof and the one on the right is for the side mirrors. I'd double check that ejection seat option though. I neat although rare option!
|
I imagine it would be prudent to resist using the ejection seat if you own a coupe. Perhaps they were only options on targas?
|
Yup! My targa has one.:D (Can't remember if it ejects driver or passenger...hmmm?)
ROFLMAO Seriously, that is your mirror control switch left/right.SmileWavy |
it is common knowledge that in factory eject seat coupe's the eject option is only passenger seat and is only armed when the sunroof is in the fully open position :D
