What does this switch do on my '79 SC
I know the one on the left opens and closes the sunroof.
What does the switch on the right control? ![]() |

Do you have powered side mirrors? That's what it's for on my '89 I don't know about '79. Check your owner's manual.

Yes it is for the power mirrors. Controls what mirror is moved by the joy stick on the door panel.

I also have a 79, and I believe it's the ejection seat

The switch on the left operates the sunroof and the one on the right is for the side mirrors. I'd double check that ejection seat option though. I neat although rare option!

I imagine it would be prudent to resist using the ejection seat if you own a coupe. Perhaps they were only options on targas?

it is common knowledge that in factory eject seat coupe's the eject option is only passenger seat and is only armed when the sunroof is in the fully open position
