Gruppe R conversion

I am in the process of converting my early 911 w/2.4L S motor w/carbs to a stock 3.2L motor. Does anyone have a blueprint of what needs to changed?

To do it like an R Grupper just take it to a good mechanic like TRE and pay them to do it.

Just search "motor swap" and you will see many threads on the subject. Which trans do you have and what do you plan to use?

It has a 915 w/factory limited slip. It has all the trick suspension pieces but will be used as street rocket and occasional track car.

I suppose two basic types of hot rodders: Check book owners and DIY owners. One's satisfaction from writing checks or building it yourself can be the same, depending on the owner.

There may be different perspectives from others, but from a personal point of view, it's up to you.

Stock? You mean with Motronic? This is a very big question that needs to be answered before anyone can answer your original question.

Is your car a matching number S?
If so I would review the economics of your decision. Ss tend to be valuable. A 3.2 conversion makes a bit more sense in a T. The S motor is valuable also.

I have a 73T w a 3.2L. The car is a hoot..... Light, nimble, quick very cool.

The complete fuel system, wiring harness have all been updated to 3.2 vintage and compatibility. The car services as if it were a 3.2 carrera.
Suspension: SC front suspension and brakes, adjustable spring plates, 22-28mm t-bars, turbo tie rods, bump steer, new rubber bushings, fenders rolled riding on 7/9X16s, Oil cooler w/ aeroquip lines, SSIs, 7:31 geared.
