Engine ID help please!

Hey folks, I'm new to the site and know nothing about Porsche engines (VW Man)
A few years ago I was given a Porsche engine with NO ifo whatever, trying to figure out what it is.
4 cylinder, pancake type engine, three bolt intake, no carbs or dizzy, stainless dual exhaust manifolds still on, go about 2' back to dual 2 pipe outlet flanges.
Engine ID is GA002081.
Any help?
Thanks!

Welcome to the forum.

The engine in question is a 914/Type 4 engine from a 1973 914.It is 1971cc in displacement, also the rare 3 bolt heads with 42,36 valves are still there as all the rest heads had 4 intake studs. It is almost 100 HP in stock form. You can also join the VW/Porsche conversion forum to additional help info
