930 Fuel pumps?

Restoring a 1979 930 I checked the manual it talks about two fuel pumps one the the front and one in the back. The roller I started with had none. Is this correct or am I Reading it incorrectly. Do I need to install two fuel pumps? I am not running a turbo just 3.2.

It's correct, at least my Euro 3.3 930 had two. A single pump from a 3.2 Carerra will work just fine.

A single carrera pump will NOT supply enough fuel for a 3.3 liter CIS 930.

CIS runs at over twice the fuel pressure and uses more fuel thruput than motronic or any other EFI.

Also the control pressure regulator returns fuel to the gas tank to lower control pressure so the fuel head control plunger can raise higher and richen the fuel mixture at high rpms or under boost.

One 930 fuel pump is bigger than a Carrera fuel pump and the 930's have two fuel pumps for a reason.

One Bosch 044 motorsports fuel pump might be enough.. but I would also run two of those in series like the factory did to make sure AFR's don't go over 12:1 at 6000rpm and .8 - 1bar boost

It's a 3.2, not a Turbo..
