Anyone who know this 964 or Highline Imports in NJ?

Since I´m on the other side of the Atlantic, I´m wondering if any "Pelicans" know anything about this car, or the dealer Highline Imports. Good or bad.

Thanks for all replies

They buy a lot of cars at the dealer auctions. Nothing so special about that C4 or the price. I would not count on that warranty actually being in place on that car. Been for sale on several sites for a couple months. Looks clean and straight, I wonder about the exhaust since its got a dual and what kind of job they did on the drvers side rear cut out.

According to the dealer is this car previous owned by a PCA member! However, the dealer does not have a copy of the service records.

Any suggestions about the "correct" price for this Porsche?

Again, tanks for replies

The price is about 4 grand too high. This is the suggested retail value from a dealer. Keep looking or go in armed with a quote.

This car is not grossly over priced as some suggest. If you can pick it up aroung 19.5 or 20 thats a pretty reasonable buy assuming it does not need a lot of work.

But the car is sold without service records... Should not that effect the price?
And can I trust the mileage when the car has no records?

Run a car fax for starters just to get a feel for the miles. They have no paper trail at all on the car?

Honestly for example you have two cars that are basically identical except one has some service records what should the price difference be? If they're both asking 22k for the cars I would be more inclined to consider the one with records first but I would not expect one to sell for 21.5 and the one without records to go for 17 or 18. Ask the guys from Victory Motors they buy old service records and stamped books off ebay to put in their used Porsches
