If I have time this afternoon I'll remove the front wheels on the Carrera and snap a couple of pics for you.

Some route thru the trunk some route around the outside of the tub, depends on where the I/O ports on the cooler are

I'd mock up the cooler where it will physically sit, then check for where to run the lines, and for air egress

Here's a few pics from my stash that helped me. I have a fender mount cooler as well as a front mounted cooler. The first pic of the red car is mine, the second pic shows how to plumb the 2 coolers in series and the third is another from my stash. Hope it helps.

We usually run the lines under the right rocker (OEM or Aeroquip) for street cars but in some cases on race cars, the lines run inside the car on the floor, either next to the tunnel or right sill for protection.

Make sure your front oil cooler installation permits sufficient air to exit the cooler otherwise it won't be very effective,... :) :)

Steve is typically right on. However, on some front bumper installs, the backspacing for the cooler will be very tight. It'll depend on the cooling requirements of your particular engine, but on mine (2.7 RS type w/E-cams), the front cooler (Earl's) sits flush with the front bulkhead. Highway and stop and go temps are typically 180-190ºF and never exceed 210ºF.

As with most mods, YMMV.

Mine will go to about 200-205F then the front thermostat opens and it drops back to 185-190F and pretty much stays there.

Running the lines through the passenger compartment is usual only on a pure track car

here's a nicely done setup
