Straps Under Passenger's Seat?

Can someone tell me what these straps are for? I had though that they for the (missing) Porsche air compressor, but I have been told that they were originally stored in the trunk. The straps clip to the seat rails. (Disregard the baby seat strap that's hanging down from above).

Also, while we're here, what are these electrical connectors for? My guess would be for optional seat heaters. Is that correct?

Passenger's side (relay?):

I don't know about the straps, but the electrical connectors (at least the driver's side) looks like my connector for seat motors. Do you already have power seats?

I'm pretty sure the straps are for the passenger side floor mat (possibly an aftermarket one, to keep it from sliding forward). check for some clips on the underside of the mat.

I think the straps go through the front of the rail, and connect to that little hook on the back of the seat rail in your first picture.

The straps are for floor mats. The Lloyds mats uses that set up.

The connector on the driver's side is for the seat belt buzzer. Not sure about the one on the passenger side. It doesn't look familiar.

Thanks for the info.

The straps for the mats make sense now, as does the connector for the seat buzzer.

I have the lower-end power driver's seat (height adjustable only, two buttons).

So then, the big connector under the passenger seat would be for a power passenger seat I guess.

For a while, a power driver's seat was standard and a power passenger's seat was optional.
