Transmission support bolt question
On a 3.2 Carrera, the transmission support is secured to the chassis with 2 M10 (or M12?) x 1.5 bolts, grade 8.8. Nothing special about them, but our host has them for $17.00, probably because they are OEM.
Anyways, the only apparent difference between these and your off-the-shelf $1.75 metric bolt is the pointed end. Anything special about the pointed end? JB

There is one more difference: They are grade 10.9, at least on my car
And yes, thread is M12x1.5

The pointed ends make it a little easier to install the bolts even when they are slightly off aligned. You can make your own pointed end with a grinder.
