Billy Boat headers...what's your opinion?

I am putting a ss3.2 in my '77 S and need new complete exhaust for it.....

I like the looks of the Billy Boats with heat, anybody have the new ones and have anything to say about them, good or bad????

And or, if you don't like the BB's, what do you like/recommend?

The headers are fine the mufflers are not and they limit to only using their mufflers so nothing OEM works which makes it a bear to taylor the sound to your liking. go SSI's for your setup

Basically a race motor....Running 52mm intake valves, 43mm exhaust valves, DC44 cams, stripped down Carrera efi with gsf rails and 29lb. injectors. Twin plugs and 10.5:1 compression. Electromotive engine management. Driving time split between the track and aggressive pleasure drives in the country, no rush hour daily driving.

What's wrong with the BB mufflers? I heard they had weld problems in the past but would think they're over that by now.

So, any suggestions for an exhaust system?
tks,

BB mufflers are terrible, headers are ok so use Magnaflow or Flowmaster like everyone else, other alternatives are Fabspeed headers& mufflers and there was a fellow in Tx offering stepped ss race headers w/ reversed cone megaphones that looked interesting(but I can't find his url). As far as I know none of the above are offered w/ std 911 inlet ctr spacing, all have the option of heat or not

Thanks, I knew asking here was the thing to do before ordering up a mistake

That Fabspeed complete exhaust kit looks pretty nice, they're on the east coast too.
