How to remove wire connectors
Can anyone help as to how to remove the 3 wire connectors from the headlight receptical in the headlight bucket of an SC??
I need to remove the fenders and this receprical will not fit through the hole in the fenders headlight bucket. Thanks, Bob ps... if I have to I can cut apart the receptical and order new ones IF they are avail, but there must be some way to get em' out...

If you look inside the connector closely you will see that the little spade connector inside has a tab on it that is holding the spade inside the plastic peice. You need to flatten this little tab. A very narrow and thin screwdriver will work. I had to grind an old screwdriver down to size. The srewdriver fits between the spade connector and the plastic cover.

thx guys... I thought sticking in somthing thin would work, but, the screw driver I used was probably too fat & I needed to put on my glasses!!
Cool... another tool to buy... I guess te pictured multi head tools are for all of the different type of connectors that need different types of insertion relief to seperate the connectors... Thanks again guys! Bob
