Since you asked about 935 mirrors...
Since I received a PM asking about my 935-style mirrors, here's a better picture:

Look good. Any other views? How do they mount?

Are they usable? Meaning can you see where you need to see in street traffic? I want to put these on my 993.

They wouldn't be ideal for a daily driver in heavy traffic.
There are two types of glass- Convex and flat. Mine are the plain flat mirrors. The convex glass would probably be a better choice, but I bought these used from a fellow Pelicanhead. Not sure if the convex glass is available any more. Probably would require custom-cutting some larger convex mirrors to fit. I'm sure a good glass shop could come up with some kind of solution. This car sees limited use out on public roads, so I'm perfectly happy with the small, flat mirrors |

I have a set too, the car got limited street use with them and lots of track use. I was surprised how you adapt to them and was quite pleased with them.
Now, seeing how my doors no longer have window frames or windows..... not sure if I will be able to use them. Cheers

Howdy Chaps,
Got mine from American Int'l Racing, installed them in 92 on my daily driver while doing a ground-up, used GM factory trim adhesive two sided tape to mount. To reduce housing glare, trimmed them to match the window frames in black and installed convex mirrors. So practical I gave the originals, switch and wire harness to Pat Williams to put on a customer wide body conversion. Not important to some, but they are feather light and most appreciatively, eliminate A pillar wind noise at road speed. ![]() |

Peter,
sending you a PM. Can't believe I've never "seen" you on the board before. I am in Jackson and we get together about once a month (MTFR). Would love to have you join us.
