1996 993 Oil Cooler

I use to notice a Fan running when I parked my car, it would run for a period of time and then shut off. I am assuming this was the Oil Cooler Fan. Have not heard that fan running recently am wondering if this fan should run after you park the car every time. I am not having a cooling problem. Today I drove the car, 90 deg outside and initially the Temp was about 10 o'clock but after I got going it was 9 o'clock or below but I did notice the Oil Pressure was off scale, above 5, running around 60-80 mph. Idle around 3.

oil pressure is roughly proportional to rpm, rule of thumb 1 bar per 1000 rpm

A common failure wrt the oil cooler fan in the fender is the ressitor that regulates it's speed, there is one on each side drivers is for A/C fan passengers is for oil cooler fan

The resistor is located on the aluminum tray at tiop right
