Interesting - possible there were two types? I know the "Euro" ones I bought were definitely smaller than the ones that were originally on my car, but it's also possible that someone along the line someplace put the incorrect ones on there. I'll get the part #'s and post them up when I get a minute. The ones I have on there now are definitely Euro ones, same as your picture above.

Nice car, BTW. One of the nicer looking brown ones I've seen.

74 only came with the smaller euro bumpers. Thanks for the kind words. I am the 2nd owner, original owner was a mechanical engineer and did everything in advance regarding service and the following upgrades:

1. Carrera chain tensioners
2. SSI
3. Pop Off Valve
4. Valve Covers
5. Tranny rebuild to address in advance, 1st and 2nd gear syncros

Car is bone dry stock and also came with an ultra rare 74 correct, Travel Parts Kit to compliment the Tool Kit. Even the Early 911 owners let me park next to them HA HA HA

Fortunately, it does not come with the same "dent" that is on the ebay car above.

Post a pic of your car!

Mine's a wreck right now. It's got color code #336 (Mexico Blue) which is awesome, but somewhere along the line some joker got the bright idea that black looked better (ugh). So that's one thing I'm working on (restoring it to the original color). Un-painting the targa bar, adding a ducktail (it has the wider SC flares), some nice BBS RS wheels (have 7" & 8" fuchs too). There's also some crappy body work that someone hack-jobbed around where the SC flares are, which I'm undoing and doing correctly. Also some minor rust repair where the jack tubes are. Oh, and upgrading to H4s. Mechanically I'm adding the Carrera tensioners, a front oil cooler, SSIs and megaphones (the current exhaust setup bores me), etc. Lots of work!

I'll post up some pics later though. It's probably about time I documented where I am anyway.

Yeah, this is my 4th P-Car had a 67, 68 and 69 previously. They are all like a house, never done and always something to fix. Most recently I replaced 35 year old Master Brake Cylinder, Pedal Cluster rebuild and just the other week Hand Throttle Lever piece that slides on to the throttle cable for start up.

All fun, and require the "Kung Fu" grip that I dont possess even though I'm Asian HA HA HA. Best done with a friend to past the beer or tools. But the work is good therapy letting me speak in "tongues" as every 2 hour planned service/project ultimately turns in to the 5 hour project. Just love these cars.
