Is $11,000 a reasonable starting point? I'm gonna watch and see. My guess is that no one touches it. Assuming the engine is OK and no holes in the floorboard, what would be a good starting point for this car?

Not worth much more than 5K with that damage. I bet it goes un-sold

Good lord, he's on crack. He'll be lucky to get $3k for that thing in this economy.

A good mid-year with the engine mods taken care of would go for around $12,000. Subtract about $6,000 for body and paint, and since there is no mention of an engine rebuild, subtract another $6,000 to $7,000, then...ops....well, there you go. That's how they end up getting salvage titles. This one is only worth what someone can part it out for.

By and large when a seller immediately starts telling you how good the sound system is or what a "killer" stereo he's installed Before or instead of addressing any mechanical or cosmetic issues you will find the car is a piece of crap!
What's is worth? Not worth the headaches it'd give you.

With a little wax and polish, should be fine. Little concerned about the impact on aerodynamics as a result of that dent

For 500 dollars id take it, only approach the car from the front right and always ride on the pasenger side

Looks like a US car with the narrow EURO rear rubber bumper blocks? or where these used on the 74 US cars?

Also, if that damage was the front fender rather than the rear the repair would be much simpler. With that rear damage the repair is more than the car is worth.

But eBay is a funny place - we shall see.

Those are indeed Euro bumperettes and no, they were not standard on US-spec 911s from '74, at least AFAIK. I've updated them on my car (as well as the taillights, front fenders, headlamps, etc.)

A nice set of the Euro bumperettes by themselves isn't cheap either.

Hell, I'll sell you an "emaccuate" running '75 targa S for $9.5k, any offers? LOL.

But with that damage, it's a laugher.

I believe the smaller (euro) Bumperettes were standard on 74 only US 911's. 75 and on was the larger more retangular ones. The euro bumper are rarer and cost more.
