Putting 3.0 in 1975 911S

I know that several Pelicans have put SC motors in mid-year 911S. What mods and parts are required to connect a '79 SC motor in a '75S? I will include a photo in a later post. Thanks!

When I put the 77' 930/02 in the 74' targa I had to fuss the following:

- While the connector for the electrics from the engine to the car was the same, the pin outs was different. In my case the CID was 3-pin in both cases, but the FI was different. This was not hard to get right.

- The CIS fuel feed lines were different fittings.

- I put the aluminum differential side cover on my Magnisium 915 to help with the bigger load.

- I put the SSI Hx from the 2.7 onto the 3.0 so I had to take some of the air baffling from the 2.7 to the 3.0

That is all I can think of, the rest is a direct fit.

I just did this in a 76- see these threads-
Tach Wiring
Drilling Hole for ECU
'81 CIS ECU wiring question
76 widebody project
2.7L to 3.0L Engine Conversion / Swap

It isn't hard to do, oncew you know what to look for. If I can find time I'll write up a guide on what I had to modify and how. In the meantime, ask lots of questions.
