Is there a fan with the defroster?

Is it broken , or am I just confused? I push all those knobs around, and pull up on both the floor thingies, and all I get is some warm air at the base of the windshield. No fan pressure. I think it should work better than this.

And the rear electric defroster doesn't seem to do much either. That's not so important, I can look into that later.

thanks let me know

The top slider on the dash panel is supposed to control the speed of the blower in trunk, directly under the dash.

You should have a blower on the left side of the engine compartment as well which helps push the heat from the heat exchangers up to the front.

Do you get heat and "pressure" from the other vents?

Check your fuses first and then look over the blowers to see that they are not frozen. A few drops of oil will sometimes get them going again.

Unplug the blower and run some test leads to check the blower motor.
Brown to ground and power to the other (don't recall the color on the other one)
The fuse and relay for the blower are to the left of the engine behind that plastic cover with the wing nut.
