early 911 on BBS

I have looked all over the placed and I cannot find and pictured or any information if any body has ever put BBS RS wheels on on a pre 73 911.

Does anybody know if it can be done or better yet does anybody have any pictures?

Thanks for any help.

Ben

My 72 had black weave BBS wheels on it when I bought it. I couldn't buy a set of fuchs fast enough - I hated the way the BBS's looked. I'll see if I can dig up some pics, but I don't think I have many.

That is the exact reason why I would like to see some pictures.

I found a couple from when I first had the car appraised. They're not great - scans of printed images, but hopefully they'll at least give you an idea.

I would never have thunk it, but those actually look OK on that car. Who knew...

I guess to each his own, but I can't stand them. They remind me of early 90s Pontiac Bonnevilles. I say it all the time, there's a reason Porsche pays designers well.

Just curious, why not a '73?

I also think they look really terrible in gold, merely awful in black.

Curiosity:

WHY NOT A 73?

Since it's basically the same car as the 72.
