great little car. Now you can also add driving that little beauty around to your new enjoyment list.

Wish I still had mine...

Makes me wish I had kept mine when I think of all the work, but it was all I had t bargain with for a H6 Targa. This is my first car '66 912 Coupe. Bought it from my uncle in 1982....engine was all in boxes and didn't look like this.

My Porsche addiction started with an '82 targa and worked backwards, drawn to the earlier cars. I'm kind of addicted to how they get more Volkswagenesque the earlier they get. I mean really, who needs a car that will do 180 MPH in a country without autobahns? :^D

Darryl, would ever consider doing someone else's car, like a 69S Targa basketcase?

Another economic melt-down like last year and I might consider it! Nothing like witnessing your retirement nest-egg having a table saw accident! :^(

Well, I would love to have you do the body...needs as much welding as yours did, maybe a little more. Let me know if you'd consider it starting next year sometime.

I sent you an email to your aol account with a request along the lines of Shaun's but maybe more on the consultative side :-) Anyway, look at that and let me know what you think. I think you live just down the hill from me near Arrowhead Elementary from your youtube video. I swear I'm not stalking you. Do you know Gary Madson?

Cheers,

Oh boy, I had a weak moment... I can't wait until the paint is given the final cut-and-polish before adding the P_O_R_S_C_H_E and 9_1_2 script!

What the heck, add the hood crest too!

Ok, I just need to remind you guys I'm retired. If I wanted to (had to) work, I'd be cracking open my old SQL database manuals and doing some cushy $150/hr. consulting gig in a nice warm office in a nice soft chair! ;^D

I love a good "select * where" now and again. is there anything better than dynamically cascading dropdown boxes? :) No worries Darryl, enjoy your car.

I'm more in the realm of third normal form and outer joins! ;^D
