Steel M Calipers front and rear swap
On my '72, are the front calipers completely interchangeable with the rear or are there differences (apart from left and right)?
I've just rebuilt my front M's and may look to replace them with the Brembo 3" spacing alloy Alfa ones, thus leaving me with a nicely rebuilt M front set that would be handy to put on ther rear. Are they swapable? Don't have the car in front of me right now to take a look

Nope. Lines enter the calipers at different locations on the rears.

Front M calipers have 48mm pistons. Rear Ms are 38mm pistons. You will need to work out a brake bias system like a dual master cylinder balance bar for proper handling under braking.

Easier just to say they don't fit.
