Just did the Steve Wong chip and love it. I have it with the Fab-Speed Exhaust and Pre muffler. Great job Steve! It winds up so much faster to 6800 than before,and runs much smoother.

Welcome Mr. Bray! Very glad to see you here. I think you'll find intelligent and insightful comment, and polite as well, as long as you stay away from off-topic. There's plenty of room for Pelican and Rennlist and I've never understood the division. Although Loren's not here anymore so that's a plus.

I do have my own story about the SW chip. I swapped entire DME's with a friend and went for a little drive. I now have no doubt that everyone is telling the truth about the SW chip's ability to make the car come alive at higher RPM's. My poor friend....My poor poor friend would probably like to forget that evening. among other life altering turns and twists I did a rolling second gear burnout about 15 feet long. (I'm sure my LSD and CVs are not happy with me, but what a blast.) Anyway, I came away being a believer in both chips. My friend left having real doubts about my sanity. :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

I've ordered Russell's chip this evening, 93 octane rating for my 911 that was rebuilt about 10k miles ago, run since then with 964 cam profiles, 93 octane only, fabspeed cat bypass, and M&K 1 in, 1 out muffler. I WILL get dyno results both before and after the chip is installed. So, stock Porsche mapping vs the developed mapping.
