Will be same pressure as rest of oil system I believe. I looked at the factory manual I have and there was no info on the pressure specifically for that system, just for the whole oil system.

Same.

Your gauge goes to (I think) 7 bar, that's about 100 psi.

You'd be well advised to have a very liberal safety factor, though.

I don't know what the actual oil pressure of the scavenge oil circut is or could go up to, but the only resistance to oil flow in the scavenge circut is the external thermostat, the front oil cooler(s), and the oil filter so it shouldn't be very high.

No, not correct.

There are effectively two pumps in the 911 oiling system (at least pre-996). One feeds lubrication and cool oil to the engine's moving parts and the second is a scavenge pump, which removes oil from the crankcase and pressurizes the cooling system loop, returning oil to the tank.

The scavenge / cooling system is lower pressure, as long as the oil is up to temp. If I remember reading correctly on the order of 10 to 15 psi. I'm not sure where to find this information, but probably a search here on Pelican.

I'm certain there are two different operating pressures for the two pumps (they do share an input shaft).

oil pressure

Thanks for the replies... So I am clear - Do I install 100PSI tubing or is the consensus that I need more (appears to be ample)?

The scavenge circuit operates at a very low pressure if there are no obstructions. If a line is crimped the pressure can go higher. There is a pressure relief valve in the thermostat for the cars with a front cooler. I don't know what pressure the relief valve opens at. I'm sure that 100 PSI line would be safe as long as you don't have a blockage and the pressure relief valve is working.
