On an old 68s can I ....?

Use the rear cross member from a 1989 model would the steel have the same pressings?

Would the front inner quarter where the gas tank pipe passes through have the same pressings as Swb? Just the six inches around the filler pipe?

Regards Rich

Also what do people think is the most appropriate clutch set for the 1968 s (swb)? This will be for everyday driving , not racing

The 69 starts a 901 number and in 70 it was changed to a 911 number and followed through the SC.
The pre 69 is a short wheel base car and probably is a different part number but my PET doesnt show it before 69.
