I had look through threads, that come up in search, but failed to find photos of LSD while not removed.
I had this transmission laying in a garage for some while. Want to know, is it LSD or No LSD . So i did open it and this is what I found. Question is : what do I have in here ?

You could have tested it without opening her up...spinning the axle flanges, if they move same direction, LSD, if they spin opposite open diff..
Anyway now that's open I think you need to pull the diff out to see the other side as that's where the LSD would be. Can't tell from that side to my non-expert eye. Maybe one of the guys can tell from that view? Good luck.

If you pull the assembly it is going to be obvious a 915 ZF looks like this ![]() If the lsd was oe there would be a 12 stamped on the bottom after the type # like this 915/63 no lsd ![]() 915/73 w/ lsd

Thanks Bill, I have seen those photos . There is no marking on case, that is the reason I open the case.
Will stick to suggestion to "pull it out". I am more than half way there anyway. Thanks.
