Need help with A/C on 3.6 transplant
I want to install a Varioram Induction System on my 1995/964 hybrid 3.6L motor. However, I am still using my rear decklid A/C condensor. I know the Varioram induction system will not fit with the factory decklid condenor in place. What are my options? I have no room up front because my oil coolers are taking up both fender wells. What have you guys done? Can something be done with the Factory Carrera Tail?
Please help! Mark

Contact Charlie Griffith at Griffith's. The left rear fender well Duel-Kuehl condensers may work and perhaps a modern serpentine, half-size 930 type deck lid condenser can be fit in under the deck. There is also some gain to be had by replacing the long runs of the rubber high pressure line with sections of 3/8" aluminum (3003) air conditioning tubing leaving enough rubber hose in place for for flexibility/expansion purposes and installation ease.
