Attaboy Kev. Nothing like taking a sawzall to an otherwise perfect 911 fender to make u question your sanity. Hang in there and keep up the good work.

Thanks Ted, look forward to final pix.

If you are interested in a 'side-fill' like mine, i can send u some tubing dimensions, but all it really amounts to is welding a cone down to the size of the existing tank inlet.

benp911 11-09-2009 02:18 PM

I am worried about a proper seal with a filler in the hood, so I might just locate the filler under the hood. My front fenders are pretty trick and have had the filler door glassed over.
I figure I can just open the hood when I need gas! I do like the look of your hood on the targa, so who knows at this point? I am stilling to figure out what mirrors I want and the new post on the sebrings might have answered my question.
