3.6L transplant with cruise control

Has anyone been able to hook up their 1984-89 Carrera Cruise Control to their car after installing the 3.6L motor? It seems like someone could fabricate a bracket to attach the CC cable to the 3.6L throttle body. Once this part has been completed I would think the stock Carrera CC system should work fine? What do you think?

Back in '92, when I put a 3.6 into my '80SC, I wrestled with the same problem. I succesfully got my cruise hooked up. I fabricated a little ear to the throttle linkage lever. You just need a little engineering imagination, but it can be done! It is real tight in that area of the motor, but I will do the best I can to try to get some pics. Stay tuned.

Another try

Come on guys! Much tougher projects than this have been tackled on theis BB. This should be straight forward. All you would have to do is fabricate a bracket allowing the CC cable to fasten to the new throttle body. Anyone got any ideas??????
