Early 911 Racing Fuel Tank ??

Does anyone know where I can buy an early 911 racing style fuel tank similar to the one pictured below? I would really like one with the thru hood filler cap (just because it looks cool). I've checked with ATL & FuelSafe but only found the modern types. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks,

FrankT, I'd be interested also if you find a manufacturer. Nothing shown on TRE's website. Thanks...

Isn't that the T/R tank? You may have to make your own... I have seen a few for sale $$$$$. CNielsen did his own with a friend... lots of work!

Check this build thread on how it was done:

If TRE sells them that would be nice.

I called TRE today - they do make a tank using a new reproduction tank for $1000. They said it will be posted on their on-line catalog next week. Here's a pic they sent me. Looks nice. Still debating on cutting a hole in my original hood.

here is what we make , using a 21 gallon cis fuel tank.

We also have a custom fuel cell made that looks very very close to the rally tank. Of course, because of the bladder it has the bulkhead style plate on the top of the unit. Its pricey as these are hand made to order

check these out and e mail me at tremotorsports@gmail.com for details

if you want underhood fill, offset , or custom caps, we can help with that too.

Pricing is 1100 for unit as you see in the blue car, $1200 with the hidden inside aircraft locking cap. we also provide you with the mold in funnel piece for the underside of the hood.

The fuel cells start at $4995
