Tire size recommendation

I am getting a new set of 18" wheels for my 911. 11" rears and 8.5" front

I currently have a 295/30/18 in the rear and 225/40/18 on the front.

Iwould like to get advice on what size of tire to install on these new babies.

The car has a 993 engine and I have also upgraded the brakes (brembo F40 calipers in front and 965 caliper in the rear)

I am planning to mostly use the car for DE events and eventually driving on the street, but not much really. I still don't have a trailer so probably I will drive the car top the events.

I will expand a little bit to seeif I get anyone interested :-)

I understand that wider is better, but how wide can I go on the front 245? ...keep in mind that I don't have power steering.

Also, what relationship should I keep between front and rears, if any?
