Hi !!!

I've got a problem to remember how was the spring calibrated in the AFM .

Can someone explaining me the way to do it with factory values ???

Number of teeth ?

I just talk about the spring , and not found something about it.

Thanks for all input ,

Cheers,

i assume you are talking about an 84 or newer, not a CIS car?

you should post the year and any other info that will help.

84-89 all used the same AFM. I even thing the 964's has the same AFM.

I think you're going to have difficulty setting the spring calibration. The only way I can think of doing this is by a flow bench comparing the output voltage to a calibrated unit.

The car is a stock 86' 3.2 model .

I've got the AFM way of calibrating , but that don't talks about the stock calibration of the spring.

Only how to leaning up or leaning down the mixture .

If somebody knows...........Thanks again !!!!

Good day to all !!!

Ced,

Post a picture to show what your AFM looks like, maybe we can see the issue and help that way.

I have an AFM that you maybe able to referrence to as well.

mine was messed with by the previous owner and i spent alot of time trying to sort it out, and i finally bought a another one off of here and problem solved. there are a few different markings on the spring and holder and housing, but i wasnt able to find out what they menat so you're shooting in the dark.
