The length of each throttle rod is in the spec book.

I received the tools I ordered from our host last week, been too busy at work to do much with the car.

The bottom gasket/seal on my rebuilt pump was very brittle and combined with a slightly warped bottom plate my new pump leaked 3 dl in 30 minutes, I would have expected a new seal at a minimum, these are readily available from Bosch Classic program. I cant see how that rebuilt pump could have been flow tested/tuned or even checked out without noticing a leak of that magnitude.

That problem was "solved by" installing the bottom plate from my 911E spare system, with some luck the weather will hold and I will be able to take out the car for testing/adjusting tomorrow.

Did you flush the tank and replace the fuel before the engine was installed? Did you take a fuel sample to see if there is moisture in it?

Trond, When you were replacing the bottom cover rubber seal, was the inside of the pump housing like new clean? Was the inside of the bottom plate also like new clean?
I was just curious to see how far of a pump "rebuild" this went.

Yes, I would say that it was very clean but I would be very surprised if it was tested/calibrated running, it would have messed down the workbench..

I will take a closer look at the pump when I get the gasket kits, would like to change the lower seal just to be assured it will hold oil.

Regarding fuel/tank, the car was running like a champ with the original CIS engine before I put the RS engine in it, so I dont believe it could be problems there.
