Question Storage Suggestions?

Just purchased a beautiful 88 Carrera with 109K. Since i'm still working on and daily driving my 77, would like to park the 88 for future fun. I know I should get it out once a month or so, but what else will help to keep the car from having future issues. I'm in Colorado with low humidity and the car is kept in a garage ( not heated ) Thanks all.

How long is the future? Long term storage is more involving than short term.

I'm sort of in the same boat,. My '80 SC is in the garage but I picked up an '84 Carrera a while back with no place to put it (wasn't thinking). Until some space opens up on the home front I've got it in a storage unit. All I do is put a little more air in the tires, Stabil in the tank and try to drive it (getting it up to temperature) at least every three to four weeks. Disconnect the battery when I park and that's it. Seems to be doing fine with this kind of treatment.

Garage
use a float (trickle with smarts) batt. charger

change the oil before putting it away

crack the window slightly

put mesh screen over any openings a mouse could get into (anything over 0.5")
