Where Can I get an air guide?????

I need a air guide for alternator. Any suggestion where I may find one. Posted in classified.

They're plastic crap, and you can find them used, but most are beat-up, ovalized, cracked, corroded...who started the rumor that this was a superbly built luxury car?

I refurbished mine with some fiberglass and paint.
Not hard to do but the base were the bolts go through has to be done accurately.

I know some guys run without them and I was tempted to leave it off but I was worried about the air flow around the alternator.

This is a rebuild for a friend of mine and the engine did not have one on it to start. I would not leave this part off as it could lead to overheating.

I didn't think it would make much difference. A bit like the air seals on the ignition cables.

I'm glad I decided to repair mine instead of leaving it off.
