No start issue solved with new issue - stalling at idle

It seems that a rebuilt DME was what finally solved my no- start issue. Unfortunately I have a new problem

Even when the car has been warmed up, if you take your foot from the gas, even during a shift the idle drops really really low and if you don't put your foot back on the gas, it stalls.

Now, when they rebuilt the DME they added a performace chip. Nothing too terribly aggressive, but it is now another variable, which I probably shouldn't have introduced.

Anyway, the car has been sitting most of the summer, outdoors and it has been pretty wet lately. I am thinking new cap and rotor, new plugs, just to rule those out as a cause. However, the car runs nice and strong and seemingly smooth at higher RPM's. the idle is bumpy with my foot on the gas.

I haven't yet messed with the idle screw. So here is my question; should I just try adjusting the idle up.

Thoughts?

Thanks,

Matt
