how to disconnect 996 shift linkage? HELP!!

I am in the middle of a tranny drop on my '02 C4S and I am stuck with the shift linkage cables. How do i disconnect these things!?!? Can anyone help me with this.

Mario,
First unclip the outer cable at the bracket then they just"pop" off the linkage
Be gentle with all the pieces ,they're fragile

Poss' a bit late now , but hear you go;






the ends of the cables just prise off with a large screwdriver or trim panel tool.
