LCD monitor keeps shutting off

I have a 21inch dell ultrasharp lcd, for about a year and a half now. It just today started acting strange. It will suddenly get extra bright and then shut off. The light remains green meaning that it is on. If I try to turn it back on, the image will come and then turn off again a second later. Usually after a few times the monitor will stay on. I tried unplugging and replugging it. The only other thing I can think of is I just got a new HP printer.

We all know John is right. Replace it with a 36 inch display. More power Arf Arf!

It was good that you were able to isolate the only change prior to the monitor problem starting. I would recommend returning your printer to the store and reinstalling your old printer. If you are still having a problem with your monitor, then you will likely want to follow John Walker's advice.

I would first start looking at the WUR and if its ok just put a bigger Turbo on her! Oh yea, and increase the boost! That ought to fix it for sure....
