Finally winter weather cleared a bit and went for a long test drive.
The engine runs smooth and strong. Smoke also got a lot, lot less. Nevertheless had to abandon after 20 minutes. Smoke smell in the cabin and leakage on the left heat exchanger. Couldn't spot the leak but that has to wait until after Christmas. Merry Christmass! Regards from a snowy Prague. Ed |

Great new for Christmas. Those pesky lower valve covers have a tendency to leak a bit of oil.
At least it keeps a lot off the garage floor. I always said if Porsche put the engine up front we would not have to deal with the rust issues to the extent that we have. Merry Christmas to you as well, Rusty PS: I'm off Christmas day to Ohio to pick up my yet to be seen 68 912 Soft Window Targa. Should be fun in the snow.
