Seat fitment question 89 vs84
Will a set of power seats from a 1989 carrera fit a 1985 Carrera?

yep......
and they will fit a 1984 carrera, too.  The only issue would be connecting power if the 84 didn't have power seats.

The later model seat 85 on, fit 74 to 84 but the seat sits higher in the car than they do in the 85 and later.

I donīt think it should be a problem. Porsche changed their seating arrangement with the Impact bumper cars. The new seats traded weight against a slightly higher driving position
