Show your ROCKERS

I have a 71T that was C2'd in the 90's.

I want to bring it back to it's longhood glory and one of the 1st steps (easy & cheap) is pulling the 964 rockers.

I may go without but as I have these holes to cover/fill going to original rockers is an option.

Questions, do they have studs that they mount with?

Will I have fitment issues with SC front fenders & flairs?

Options?

Thanks!

An option or cheap fix would be carefully fill the holes, mask a line just below the bottom door edge, get some "rock chip guard" from local body shop supply, spray the length of the rocker then paint white to match the car. When applying the rock chip move quickly so as not to make clumps. SC's rocker covers are coated with some sort of rubberized material before paint. You could put SC rockers on it but the look you have of the early cars is much more attractive.
My 2 cents, might be worth a penny.

Following on that idea, why not get a spray can of white PlastiDip?

Similar result, and if you don't like it you can peal it off.

Do Factory Rockers have studs for fitment?

You can see the holes the 964 rockers were mounted with.
Think stock rockers will work ???

SC fenders? Are you going back to long hood? I would just wait and fill and paint the holes later, they look great with out any rockers and the holes are barely noticeable now. The SC and carrera do not have studs they have screws.
