Now I know what my car would like with the coolest wheels for a 911 on it.

Welcome friend.

Welcome to the forum. Neat to see your in Hamden. I graduated from Paier College of Art in Hamden. Lived up in Meriden, but spent everyday almost for 4 years around Hamden/ New Haven /Yale. What shop is that where the car is pictured? Maybe I know it. Looks almost like Vertucci's in North Haven.
Again...welcome: It's addictive here.

Now there's a blast from the past! Paier College of Art - I knew Jonathan (Paier) pretty well back in the late '80s. Used to visit him at the college. I remember how happy he was when they got the reciprocity agreement with Albertus Magnus.

I knew Jonathan and his brother Dan back in the day (I graduated from Paier in 98). I was actually our student class president, so I dealt w/ them from time to time. Great school. Some of the best illustrators in the country came from Paier IMO (Tim O'brien and Steve Brennan who also taught me). Some of the greatest teachers/ professors as well. I see your in SCAD country. That was my second choice for colleges.
Sorry for the off topic discussion!

Some of my best friends are SCAD faculty, and I don't mean that in the pejorative! Paier was a great place. SCAD is incredible.

To avoid OT accusations (however appropos), beautiful car! If you are going to store it for the Winter, please do not forget to buy Stabil and add it to your gas. You will also want to disconnect or remove the battery. I hope you get a chance to take it out to Lime Rock and maybe Watkins Glen and track it in a DE next year! You are definitely in the middle of a hotbed of Porsche enthusiasts.

tmsautoart, I go right by Paier Art School every day on my way to work, as for the shop it is in Newington CT called AMG.

GaryR, I have heard of Dan's shop in Oxford, as a matter of fact I think you know my brother, he has an 84 Targa, I think you gave him a front valence.

Could well be! There are two shops in CT I would use, Dan's is #1 and Auto Associates in Canton (Scott or Jim) is the other. May be others that are good, but those two would be my choices. If your going to be up this way (and it isn't snowing) let me know and I would be glad to introduce you.
