Drive your Porsche....TODAY!
That's exactly what I'm planning to do today.
Here on the Left Coast, it is not raining, the air is crisp, cool (and probably worth 20 extra hp), and colorful Fall leaves are on the ground. I'm going to fill the BB's tank now...see ya later!

wow, I love it!
There's nothing like the sound of that flat-six over the rustling of colored fall leaves... I'm heading out today myself. Up here in New England, it's been a relatively warm fall....perfect driving weather for a car without an a/c! ![]() ------------------- Emmanuel 83sc http://www.basementouttakes.com/ |

As soon as I can get out of this office, and stop by Home Depot, I plan to take a drive. Should be low-70s in Atlanta today!

Jeez, Daryl- that makes me sad. I sometimes miss the seasons here in L.A., but not that part. Hope you can at least tweak it over the winter!

600 miles!
What a treat for you and the car, Randy! While I did not post those kind of miles in my trip today, it was a delightful drive regardless. As usual, the Blue Bomber ran flawlessly....I love that car! Everytime I drive her, I'm happy for another week.

I put about 350 miles on the car already this weekend. I went to Knoxville Friday night to hang out with a friend. Saturday we drove around Oak Ridge trying to find a pizza place (Big Ed's, if you're from the area). The best part was we came across a small auto restoration show at a credit union - just some American muscle fans showing off their work on a nice Saturday. After walking around and looking at some nice cars, my friend and I headed back to my car in the parking lot to find a bunch of kids ogling it! They liked my ratty, unclean, high-mileage 911 that the pristine, gleaming chrome in the show!

Getting out also...
Hit the Lowes this am then went for a nice drive out to the beach for lunch. My goal is to keep the top off all winter and still drive. I was so happy with my car, the weather and lunch that I let my wife drive home. She did a pretty good job. I would much rather drive, but it's nice when someone else drives because I can really check out the car from another perspective, like kneeling in the passenger seat and craning my neck out the top to hear that engine roar!

I was just heading out the door myself! Bought a '88 911 Carrera last weekend (black/black), and already have 500 miles on it.

Hi Guys. It's sumer time here in New Zealand. About time too, it was a really miserable winter. I spent yesterday on the beach so don't mind being at work now (it's Monday morning already here in NZ). And light traffic - fast drive to work today

It was a beautiful day for a Porsche drive today here in New England! Just returned from a 200 mile run after oil change and belt replacement.

Went for a quick drive today in Atlanta - low 70s, sunshine and blue sky - perfect weather for a topless ride.
Joined a Mike F. (94 C2 Cab) for a few tristy roads north, had a quick lunch, then back to reality two hours later. Had to test the new 7/9x16s - the Dunlop 5000s just don't compare to the Pirellis on my 7/8s - tread a bit harder - definitely going to Khumos before spring. We switched rides for a few - my first time driving nice C2 - better brakes, better transmission, overall more docile ride than my '86 - you can really feel the increased torque of the 3.6. Still prefer manual steering/brakes of the '86.

Hey all,
It's getting pretty chilly out here in the NY burbs. I'll get to drive my baby only a bit longer before I will only be able to sneak it out without salt on the ground. LOVE to get it going in the colder weather, as my worries on overheating (which hasn't happened) are virtually non-existent. My targa loves the cold air. regards all, JON '85 targa

Who could ask for anything more?
Just finished two days of driving at Willow Springs. 90-minute drive there and back, through the mountain passes, up into the high desert -- then half-hour sessions on the "fastest track in the west."
Perfect weather, both days. The same group has another event, this January. I'd bet that the weather will be great then, too. Have I mentioned that I love Southern California? ![]()

Buy them, sell them

Well, it should be around 80 degrees on Sunday this week, so I'll be getting the 911 out of the garage and as Bill Cosby says "Blowin out the gunk". There's an amazing mountain pass in the outer eastern Suburbs of Melbourne that'll get a workout from me and the 76.
Any other Melbourne based Pelicans want to tag along? Drop me a line...
