When did we stopt CHUNKing and start FWUMPing?
My 997's doors make an ordinary FWUMP sound when they're closed, just like any other recent model car. Earlier 911 doors make a really satisfying CHUNK sound. Where in the 911's history did we lose that glorious sound? 964, 993, or 996?

At the same time that we lost the window frames my friend, ie with the 996. Of all the things we lost when we went from the old body to the new body, it's the window frames that I miss the most.
That's not to say my 996 doesn't feel rigid and taught though...more so than my 911 did even.
