Widest Fuchs rims for 1978 SC

Hi All

Could somebody please let me know the widest Fuchs rims that will comfortably fit under the guards for a 78SC. Thanks heaps

3.4 Bigger is better

7" on the front and 9's on the rear. 8" on the front if it is from a 951, off set works well on the front.

Thanks 88, 9" on the rear these are fuchs rims you refer to? I was under the impression that 8" would be the widest ?

keying on the word comfortably stick w/ 7ET23.3 & 9ET15

the 944 8 ET23.3 are just a tad too far off o/s wise for a comfortable fit.

for 8 you would want ET25 -31 and even then it's tight

The 9 will fit, the extra inch is on the inside of the rim so fender clearance is the same for the 8 and 9.
