Uneven hood on 88
I did a search, but did not find an answer. I have an 88 coupe, and the gaps on the hood look good, but the left rear corner sits a bit high. There seems to be a bracket with 3 bolts the the hinge is connected too, and the first impulse would be to loosen the bolts, and try and bump the corner down a tad. Am I on the right track, or am I missing something.
It is the little things that will drive you crazy. Cheers, Emerald

Be careful. That hood is heavy.

Thanks, I'll be careful. It is easy to forget about the weight because the hood shocks make it seem light.

you're on track. The hood hinges are adjustable to do exactly what you have in mind.

Use painters tape around the edges when doing adjustments to avoid marring the paint.

Remove the shocks first.
