Can I ream accelerator jets?
A few of the accelerator jets on my webers are badly clogged. I don't know what's clogging them, but Gumout doesn't touch it. Is it OK to ream them with a jet reamer? I noticed that the opening isn't a straight cylindrical shape, but seems to be cone shaped. I was wondering if the cone shape helps to atomize the squirt and if I might mess that up by reaming them. Any thougths?

i have a set of jet drills that i use for that. find one that just fits and do a quick twist by hand. usually no need to go oversize. does the gas pump out of the hole the jet sits over, with the jet out?

John, Without knowing just where my problem was, I decided to do a total cleaning/re-build so they're too far apart to do that test now. |

Full set for nos jets here, can't speak to their quality. Do you need metric sizes or just convert ( Drill Bit Size Chart )?
