when is a petronix and MSD bad??

Searching for answers. Help me eliminate possible problem areas. When either device is bad does it just not run/start at all or can they just cause constant missing when under load?

Rob,

When a Pertronix goes bad, thats a no-start condition.

When an MSD and/or its coil has a problem, that can either be a no-start or cause running problems.

Its time for some systematic and methodical troubleshooting to find your problem.

What he said. Sometimes, it's all I can do to keep from saying "When you see them wearing turtlenecks and humming "When you're a Jet, you're a Jet all the way. . ." Now, back to your regularly scheduled programming. . .
