83 Targa window parts/ window channel

Hello, does anyone know if there is a felt guide piece in the trailing window glass guide in a 83 Targa?

My window is not aglinged properly, it is a bit clockwise when you look at its postion against the top an back rubber.

I dont see a rear felt channel as a replacment part on the Pelican parts site, unless I just don't know what I'm looking at. Wanted to check that before I took the door apart to adjust the glass riser, etc.

Thanks for any help.

I'm not 100 percent sure myself.
I was working this project on the windows of my 87, but got delayed.
The PET shows a part for my car, but you're right, Pelican doesn't show it for pre-1987 cars.

Part listing I am talking about is :
911-542-505-40-M Targa, Cabriolet Vertical Window Channel Felt, left or right, Front (1978-89), Rear (1987-89)

I am curious because the felt on the trailing guide was/is completely missing, and there is a white teflon-like part at the bottom of the window that looks like it could ride in the track, but not if there was felt in it.

I have not opened the drivers side door to compare - and I did not find evidence of dried up felt material that would have indicated that it fell out.

Here is a picture inside the door of my 85 Targa, with window raised. There is a brass U shaped rail that runs vertically inside the rear of the door, that the white teflon part slides in. The felt is on the front slider only. Hope that helps. :)

I have 2 brand new guides such as those lying around, and they have no felt.
They were bought during the restore of my car, as I thought that the felt would be needing replacement. Turned out there's no felt at all, hence I ended up with a couple more items for the parts bin.

They're for sale if anyone's interested...

Thanks TargaDavePerth and prebordao - I hope CVJR sees this.
