SCWDP 911 World Cup Challenge

OK, sbmackie has started the ball rolling on something that I wanted to kick out and expanded idea to the masses for thought. The idea is basically this:

(excerpt from our email) Maybe we could play that up more as the first SCWDP World Cup or something of that nature. We would have to make sure to have some cool events to participate in though. Maybe have an old 911 with an engine in it, and each 911 group has a team that drops the engine and then reinstalls it. The teams are awarded for fastest drop, fastest install, and fastest overall time. Maybe do the same with an oil change or, or other maintenance type items. Then have a blind autcross and a regular autocross. I think if we really pressed forward with something like this we could see a really cool event. Sure it would not be all SCWDP, but maybe we could even roll it around to different 911 groups for organization year to year (this year SCWDP, next year R-gruppe, etc, etc). I think if we could probably get some sponsors to donate prizes if we go down this sort of path. What do you think?

So what do the masses think. I think we could really put on a cool event if we have enough interest and help. Just kicking the idea around...
